"Can I use any flash device on my housing?"
Please always observe the instructions given by the camera and flash manufacturer. Digital SLR cameras have a complex electronic technology and can only work together properly with specially adapted flash devices. Only specially constructed E or TTL flash devices are able to do this. For manual exposure nearly all flash devices can be used. In order for this to work the connection to the flash needs to be completely manual which means that only the mass and the release contact can be connected to the camera. This can be achieved via manual cables or as with all our housings through very practical contact pins that can be easily removed from the camera hot shoe.
