Ace Wu took his first dive in 2012 and is now one of the most well-known underwater photographers in the world. Initially attracting attention with macro and blackwater, he has since expanded his portfolio to include stunning wide-angle shots – and more images are added with each trip.
An autodidact himself, it is very important to him to show and explain the techniques to beginners in a very simple way during his workshops. He is a patient teacher and enjoys bringing others closer to the beauty of the underwater world through his work and to draw even more people under the spell of the seas.
Ace Wu was born in Taiwan and now lives in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He travels all over the world as a professional underwater photographer and regularly holds workshops and technical lectures. His work regularly wins international awards and is published in magazines and books. His personal trademark: camouflage wherever possible.
In challenging situations and unusual assignments, flexible and adaptable equipment is the most important thing. Exciting pictures and professional work can only be achieved with the right tools.
