It’s a long way from idea to production. And although we can already save a lot of time with today’s technology, product quality is and always will be our top priority.
Every project starts with the design phase, in which we discuss and work out the nitty gritty details of the first drafts. The final result is then designed on the computer using CAD technology and optimized in terms of ergonomics, compatibility and buoyancy.
The constructed models are then used as input data and the programs for CNC machines. This construction system guarantees the highest precision, but also the greatest possible flexibility for rapidly changing camera systems.
Only alloys of the highest quality and purity are used in our production. We require a certain strength, corrosion resistance and surface hardness for our products and only work with trusted partners who can deliver and machine the appropriate materials.
SEACAM housings are made from a saltwater-resistant light metal alloy and are precisely milled, lathed and drilled from whole blocks using CNC. For the manufacture of shafts, bolts and other components, we use high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel and highly durable synthetics.
Modern machinery, precise programming, long running times and high-quality tools guarantee dimensional accuracy and the finest surfaces for all parts used. Only these processing methods in combination with highly qualified and skilled workers ensure the quality of all components in our production.
