Never miss a creative opportunity or lose your closeup lens in the current ever again: It’s firmly attached to your MIP microport – so you’ll be flexible and safe on your dive in every situation.
Realize your vision: Explore the macro world with our SEACAM Creative Tube – simply attach it to the MIP Microport or securely integrate it into our Flip System. Made from high-quality synthetic, the Creative Tube features a flexible ball joint for an easy rotation, offering additional flexibility and creative freedom for the perfect angle of macro subjects. Available in two lengths, for 60mm and 105mm macro lenses.
We currently offer three different models of closeup lenses, depending on the magnification possible. All lenses are made from high-quality optical glass and are precisely calculated to work with your favorite macro lenses. The lens body is made from either synthetic or aluminum and will fit either directly onto your existing MIP 60 / MIP 80 or onto the matching flip adapter system.

This new float was developed specifically for Achromat photography – in moments where your housing might need extra support. It’s part of our new modular float system where all parts can be individually configured and demounted as needed. On the back side of the float here you’ll see the practical handle grip, which can also be exchanged for an M8 ball adapter. This system will make sure your housing is always well balanced and opens up the possibility for many different configurations.

The long-awaited flip adapter is the flexible enhancement for your closeup lens system. Easily switch from macro to super macro and back – with either the single or the dual flip adapter for a second lens. The flip system is easily mounted onto the MIP 60 / MIP 80 and fits all our Achromat lenses. The basic setup is designed for one lens, but you always have the option to upgrade to the dual version with an extension. A neoprene bag will come with any flip system order, in addition to the matching servicing parts and tools.
Please note that the flip adapter is a complex, fine mechanic tool that requires good and regular maintenance. Our construction is so simple that you can easily dismantle, clean and service it yourself.
If you only want to use one Achromat and switch from your regular macro lens to closeup, you’re good to go with the single flip adapter. It can easily be flipped on when needed or you flip it away if you only want to use the macro lens alone.

If you want to kick things off with the full double flip extension system, you’ll be able to switch between three different choices: your single macro lens, as well as the two Achromats. Flexibility deluxe!

If you want to upgrade your single flip adapter to a dual system at a later point, that’s easily doable as well. Simply order an extension, which you can easily mount by yourself. All necessary tools and servicing parts will be provided with your flip system.

Of course you can also use all our Achromat lenses directly on your MIP microport without the flip system. If you know you only need one lens for a dive, simply place it onto the port and you’re good to go – no extra tools needed. Our Achromats are not screwed onto the port, but snap easily into position. To secure the Achromat to your system, they all come with a small, drilled hole to attach a thin security cord.
