Sometimes in life, you need to leave the safe shores behind: Patrick Neumann left his finance career in 2007 to follow his passion and dreams to start a career in the diving world. Today, he looks back on 40 years of diving experience and over 6000 dives. After different work stops in Egypt and Asia, he now leads the Solitude Lembeh Resort as their General Manager. In the “Critter Capital of the World”, Patrick found the perfect place to be to combine his business expertise and passion for the underwater photography world.

Patrick’s images have been awarded in numerous renowned competitions such as the World Shootout or Ocean Art, and adorn the covers of international magazines. In his exclusive workshops, he not only teaches techniques, but also encourages people to train their photographic eye: He helps photographers to improve their skill, find motives and set the scene in an interesting way – to make their photographic visions a reality.

Patrick lives and works in North Sulawesi as Resort Manager and professional underwater photographer with more than 40 years of experience in the water, countless awards and publications worldwide. In his day-to-day, Patrick shares his knowledge as a Photo Pro at Solitude Lembeh Resort with the famous Lembeh strait as his creative base – where he hosts regular photo workshops and documents the fascinating underwater world for international dive magazines.
