Setting course
for the future.
For nearly four decades, SEACAM has stood for exceptional craftsmanship, cutting-edge underwater optics, and uncompromising reliability beneath the surface. Together with our global community of passionate photographers and partners, we have built something truly special—and we are excited to continue this journey. To secure the long-term future of our heritage brand, preserve our personal customer service, and guarantee the highest quality from a single source, we are proactively taking the next big step: On January 1, 2027, our Austrian manufacture will transition into SEACAM AG, headquartered in Ibach (Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland).
Sustainable Succession & Shared Values
Responsible leadership means preparing for tomorrow, today. We are delighted to introduce Markus Inglin as the new owner and Managing Director of SEACAM AG. As a Swiss photographer, entrepreneur, and long-standing SEACAM partner, Markus has lived and breathed our values for years. He brings deep technical expertise, fresh energy, and genuine passion to guide our global brand into its next chapter.
100% Independent & Owner-Managed
Our core DNA remains untouched: SEACAM is and will always be a 100% independent, owner-managed European company with heart and soul. To ensure a smooth, seamless transition, key members of our team—above all our founder Harald Hordosch as partner and advisor—will remain actively involved in the years ahead.
Transition Timeline
We are planning our move from Austria to Switzerland in structured stages to keep downtime as short and hassle-free for you as possible:
November 6, 2026: Final regular operational day at our facility in Voitsberg.
November 7–30, 2026: Temporary closure for the relocation and setup. The new team at SEACAM AG will already be available at their new mail address.
December 1, 2026: SEACAM AG officially opens in Switzerland, accepting orders and inquiries on a limited basis during the start-up phase.
January 1, 2027: Full operations launch at the new Swiss location with all services available.
Important updates: Service & Orders
Workshop Capacity in Austria
Our team in Austria is working at full capacity to finish all confirmed orders with our signature precision before the move. As a result, our Voitsberg workshop is fully booked until November 6. Any new service requests will be prioritized and handled directly by the trained Swiss team to begin in December.
Short-Notice In-Stock Orders
Need equipment sooner? Available stock items and accessories can still be ordered and shipped directly from Voitsberg until November 6.
Seamless Solution for EU Customers
We know a change in country raises practical questions. The SEACAM AG team is currently finalizing an easy shipping and servicing solution for all our customers within the EU. This will ensure that future repairs and orders run smoothly without bureaucratic hurdles. More details will be available soon.
